The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces. They have suggested members to review their products and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction. Size Classification Updates Previously, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10. The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10. In some cases, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18. User Stories Frankie Bridger, who produces content about larger sizing, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling". "Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," as the platform currently indicates. Another user, based in Glasgow, said garments she listed with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22. "If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she stated. "This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she said.
